The prize pool reached $750,000 and the team that won the event went home happy with $225,000 richer. The event took place at Verizon Theatre, Dallas, USA on May 30th up to June 4th. It was a battle for supremacy between twelve (12) teams from around the world, but in the end, only one team was crowned the victor. The team G2 Sports took home the prize money for winning the event which was $225,000 followed by North in second place who went home with $100,000 and SK Gaming alongside Team Liquid finished third with $60,000 in their pockets. ESL PRO League: Season Six

Season Five just ended a month ago and as we speak, Season Six is on its way! Here are the matches for the EU and NA Regions this coming August. All of which will kick-off on the 23rd of August, 2017.

This year’s execution of the ESL Pro League has seen some progress compared to the last few years. The format was fundamentally renewed. The phase before the grand final will now be played offline. In the past, everything was played online in leagues where the teams of a region had to play against each other. So that some teams had no disadvantage due to the Internet connection, mostly all players of the team were restationed and connected with a boot camp. Many teams had to travel even though it was an online league.

The ESL Pro League Season 9 probably offers the widest range of matches in an offline event. This has a very positive effect on the betting possibilities. We also have a selection of tested eSport bookmakers where you can bet on EPL S9 matches. In the first phase of the regular season, many teams get involved, even teams with no chances can show. The biggest favourites for the following finals can be found in the regions Europe and NA / SA. In the remaining regions there are also very unknown teams.

In Europe there is at least one favourite in each group. In group A Mousesports can prove itself with the new team. North weakened in the many previous tournaments. Group B will be a duel between FaZe and Ninjas in pyjamas. It is very difficult to say which of the two can win the group. Both had similarly strong performances in the last weeks. Group C is probably the most exciting of all. Natus Vincere probably has a slight advantage over the others thanks to winning the SL i-League. Fnatic and Windigo have both achieved remarkable results and G2 Esports can win a lot with good tactics, the strong players already have them. In Group D, Astralis must be beaten. However, BIG and HellRaisers will have to play the games of their lives to do this.

Now everything is fair and the conditions are the same for everyone. All regional decisions are played in offline events in one place. The regions are the same as in the last years. In Europe, NA / SA, Asia and Oceania local teams will fight for the final. The final will be a tournament. We have again all CS:GO odds for this EPL season and more tournaments for you.

Season 9 Format

As already mentioned there is no online league in the regular season anymore. This is the same for all four regions. In these regions, however, there will be a different number of teams, so there will be a different number of matches. There will also be more places in the European and American groups for the finals. In Europe, a total of eight teams can qualify. In NA / SA there are six. Asia and Oceania, on the other hand, have to be content with one place each.

There will be two rounds in each region. The first place winners in the groups of the first round for Europe and NA / SA qualify for the finals and the places 2 to 3 for the second round. In the groups of the second round the first two places in Europe and the first place in NA / SA qualify. In Asia and Oceania, promotion in the first round only means advancing to the second round of the region. There the first player qualifies.

Season 9 Teams

Top teams of the international pro scene have gathered, because nobody wants to miss the Pro League. Especially the European region is full of superteams and here it will not be easy for inconsistent teams. For Astralis, Natus Vincere and Ninjas in pyjamas the promotion is already guaranteed, but also Mousesports can be counted among the probable ascenders. The German eSport organization has rebuilt Katowice Major after the IEM and hired new players. With “Karrigan” a valuable in-game leader joins the team.

Apart from the ones just mentioned, there are five other European teams that also participated in the last major. A well-known name is missing however, because Ence Esports is not part of the ESL Pro League. Since there will be many eSport events in spring, eSport organizations will not be able to participate in every tournament. Season 9 final format + prize money

The final is divided into a group phase and the subsequent playoffs. There will be two groups in each of which the first three places will be promoted. The first match of the group is Bo1, all following Bo3. If you lose two games in the group, you are eliminated. If a team wins the group, it immediately enters the semi-finals of the playoffs. The winner is determined by a Bo5 in the final. A victory also counts to the Intel Grand Slam, which goes into the second season. Astralis has already presented a victory.

As in the last seasons, the most will be paid out in the final of the Pro League. The winner gets $250,000 and in addition to the regular season prize, there is a nice sum. Place 2 gets 110.000$ and places three to four get 55.000$. You can find the whole list here:

Review Season 8

The best CS:GO league in the world will start its eighth season on October 2, 2018. In addition to the two preliminary rounds played online in Europe and North America, there are now three more for Oceania, Asia and South America. As always, there will be a joint offline final at the end of the season, this time in December in Odense, Denmark. As in the previous Seasons, there will be a fabulous $750,000 in prize money for the participating organisations at the final tournament.

The ESL Pro League is the largest Counter-Strike League in the world, so there are also the best organizations at the start. Here you will find match odds for all matches played during the EU season as well as during the final season finals. Click on the odds to go directly to the betting provider where you can place your bet. Of course there are other betting markets for CS:GO matches in addition to the match odds. Format EU / Final + prize money

In the European preliminary round a Double-Round-Robin is played, all matches are Bo1. The matches will be played on the maps Cache, Dust II, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass and Train. If a match is won regularly there will be 3 points per victory, in overtime 2 points, with the loser also getting one point. Livestreams are only available exclusively on Facebook.

The 7 best teams from Europe, 6 teams from North America as well as one team each from South America, Oceania and Asia make it to the big offline final, which starts from December 4th to 6th with the Group Stage. In two double elimination groups, the best teams from Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania and South America will play for the promotion. The top 3 per group will advance to the playoffs. From 7 to 9 December, the final matches will take place in Odense (Denmark).

The prize pool for the final tournament is $750,000. Compared to the $125,000 in the group stages, this is a good increase, but unfortunately you still can’t get close to the biggest eSports prize money at CSGO. The distribution happens as follows:

The ESL Pro League enters its seventh season at the beginning of 2018. The format with two preliminary round groups from Europe and North America has proved very successful.
